You can tell by reading Donna Wittlif’s books that God, Jesus, the Bible, and the church are dear to her heart. She is a student of God’s Word and has been a Bible class teacher for children and women for many years. She grew up on a farm in West Virginia, and her love of nature and animals is apparent in her books. When she writes about living on a farm and growing and canning food, she has been there and done that.

Donna is a teacher. She taught English and math in public schools and in college. She has a master’s degree in special education and tested and helped students with disabilities. Several characters in her fictional books have disabilities.

Donna and her husband live in Texas. They enjoy helping with their grandchildren, writing, and working with their church. You may see Donna taking care of her potted garden. It’s all in her books.
